Del.icio.us and Litestep

I figured out how to use del.icio.us. It is quite tedious at first, but once you get the hang of it, it is a useful tool. I am not going to let out my secrets on how it works. I will let Jami's team explain that this coming Wednesday. You won't be disappointed. Very helpful tool!

I know I have been beating a dead horse about Litestep. A lot of you probably don't really know what it is. It is kind of hard to explain, but if you go to the site and view the screenshots of what your desktop would look like, it would provide a good example. I know we shouldn't multi-task, but this program will make you a multi-task God when it comes to working on the computer. It is also a very quick-pace program. You could probably find more specs than what I am telling you on their website. If you do decide to download the program, I will make a help page on how to configure the settings on your computer.

There is also a program called Darkstep, but I do not know much about it. My guess is that it is the same as Litestep with little changes.

NOTE: As far as I know, Litestep is for PC users only!

Glad to hear you've discovered del.icio.us. You're right that it's tedious to set up, but it becomes a useful tool once you get the hang of it. More on this Wednesday.

I went to Litestep.net, and I must say I am a little confused on the program. The snapshots on the page seemed weird, and I'm not sure how that would help me multi-task. I'll try to spend some more time on the site to figure it all out. Thanks for the information!

So what do you like about del.icio.us? I never heard about it until I came to this class! Thanks for not spilling the information, but I am glad that you discovered it on your own.

Hey... I couldn't figure out how to get in touch with you otherwise, but Charity told me that she's not going to be at our group meeting tomorrow because of observation in Syracuse, and depending on the snow, I'm not sure that I'm going to make it to campus either. I know that Darlene commutes as well, so she may not be on campus either. Charity and I are going to get together Thursday morning, I think, and we can do some of our part. Perhaps you could get into the lab to record your part and Darlene can do the same, then we can meet next week to smoosh them all together. Let me know what you think.

Jon, I'm with Savanna. You'll have to demo to us how this site works. I'm interested!!

Hey Jonathan,
here's my schedule so we can get the podcast done. I'll be in the library pretty much every waking second this week...

I'm on campus MONDAYat 12:40 today with class until 1:30, then I'll be in the library after that. I have a paper to write (a really simple one) and some other stuff to do, but podcasting is definately a priority. TUESDAY I'm on campus at 11:40 until 3:40 with library time afterwards. WEDNESDAY I'm free after 1:30 and I'll be in the library then.

My cell is 607-237-4539- call me if you're free and you want to meet in the library.

Talk to you later.
