As far as completing standards systematically, English 307 is my first course dealing with technology. As far as experiences go, I have dealt with a wide range of different programs, internet tools, and programming languages. Yes, I had friends that buried themselves in LINUX books and a never ending pile of books dealing with programs that just seem to make no sense sometimes. I even picked up how to use some HTML and C++ from them which I probably forgot anyway. Well its kind of hard to forget html. It is the only language that actually stuck in my head after all these years...
I was lucky enough to take part in using WebCT as well as engaging in courseware from other colleges. I have never made any videos, but as the 307 blog page says, I have dabbled around with quite a bit of audio. After a while of dealing with certain programs or internet tools such as livejournal(I don't know anyone who uses it anymore), Youtube, Adobe Photoshop, MS Powerpoint, Excel, and other various programs, a lot of newer programs to be a little more user-friendly because of repetitive use and anticipated actions from the programs. As far as blogs go, this is a lot like having a personal webpage. I believe I have what it takes to be able to lead students into a new era, not only with my energy, love for teaching, and will to make changes, but also with my previous experiences with technology which is currently growing. IF there are any of those standards left that I have not fulfilled, I will be able to address them accordingly throughout my education with new technologies. Cheers!
