I have used Backflip before actually. I have found that it is actually one of the more helpful tools on the net. The one tool I am really interested in learning more about is PiNet Library. As an educator, I would love to have every possible resource available to me for future use. So I will definitely be doing more research on the use of this tool. Another tool mentioned is Bartel Media's Phrase Express. If there are people who use PCs instead of Mac's, there is a shell called litestep that you should look into. It basically alters your Windows to this amazing fast-acting system. Here is the link if you should want to check it out: http://www.litestep.net
There are a lot of alternative tools that can be altered with certain programming languages if anyone ever has the interest of taking up that hobby. Not only can we embrace these new tools that are mentioned, but we could easily make our own...Some good ones would be COBOL, C++, or even PERL. Good luck with that though....Learning a programming language is like trying to learn a new language period. It takes time and practice. A lot of trial and error. But once you get it down, you can create anything you can put your mind to, including: Educational on-line/off-line tools.
