Pokinitis!!!!!!!!!

This was a great blog by Will. He has a funny daughter it seems like. This is a pretty basic implication for ELA teachers. Will took what he knew about his daughter and used it to build on a new idea for his daughter. That is what we as educators need to be doing when we get our feet into the classroom. We need to be using the interests and help manifest new ideas for our students by using their own experience. Will also tries motivating her daughter at the end to take it a few steps further, and the daughter considers it. This is something else we need to be doing for our students. We need to be motivating that drive instead of just making them aware of new ideas. We need to try to get the students to put those new and awesome ideas to use as well as manifest them.
